To utilise UX research processes to outline issues within an existing commerce site. Proposing and implementing solutions to issues found through UI design processes.
Utilising the key UX process of the 10 usability heuristics set by Jakob Nielsen the analysis identified issues including a lack of aesthetic and minimalist design, inconsistent patterns, and poor alignment between the system and the real world. These findings allowed for a full redesign of the landing page as well as strong insights into future work that could be complete to improve upon the booking system.
